Hi Mark

You can sort by clicking on the column header - the field name. If you click several in sequence, it sorts in sequence as well.

I suspect you're right with saying that lack of updates is probably why they've changed the default music player - the real puzzle is why the developers have abandoned what is arguably the best music player on Linux.

A Clementine newbie and Linux almost-newbie here. I'm running Linux 19.3 MATE. I was looking for instructions on where to find sorting fields in Clementine, if any (so far can't find any), and I noticed that there have been no new updates since version 1.3.1 was released in 2016. Perhaps that is why Linux Mint discontinued Clementine as the default music player? So, I am wondering whether the project is being maintained, and also a little curious why the forums are not consequently full of users wanting to know the same thing, unless it is and I missed it.

Thanks

    Hi all

Clementine has been dropped as the default music player with LM19,
replaced by the much-inferior Rhythmbox. Since my LM19 upgrade,
I've installed the snap version, and it works, except that
integration with the Cinnamon desktop is completely lacking: there
is no tray icon, and no window comes up by default. The same is
true for Cairo-dock - there is no running icon. If I want to open
a windows, I have to go to the desktop shortcut or the cinnamon
menu (a link I had to manually add).

Is there a way around this?

    Thanks,
    Edwin
