Dear all, I understand that the playlists are at the centre of the player. So instead of playing music without playlist, why not create a special playlist that is doing something different than all playlists.
This playlist would not be named, not be saved as, and would be in the menu as default playlist. Right click on song would give following menu: Play in default list (new item) Add in default list (new item) Add in current list Replace in current list (would be removed as of no use) ... rest of menu ... Right click on album would give following menu: Play in default list (new item) Add in default list (new item) Add in current list Replace in current list (would be removed as of no use) ... rest of menu ... I believe this small change would make clementine much more flexible without abandoning the playlist concept. As there would always be a playlist present (the default), it would at the same tome resolve some other strange interface behaviour in which the playlist indication becomes hidden from screen if only one playlist is present. There would always be a first default playlist present and the first user-created playlist would become the second. If ok, I will make an attempt to make the change... -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Clementine Music Player" group.
