Dear All,

Having used multiple players on multiple platforms, and now using
Clementine on Linux Mint, I herewith have some suggestions on the future
evolution of clementine. They are in order of importance (to me).

1) Default playlist behaviour:
It should be autosave, without confirmation questions on
insert/delete/replace. When double-clicking in the library on a song, it
should be added at the end of the default playlist and start playing. When
opening Clementine, it should reposition on the active playlist and active
song used during last run.

2) Searching:
Searching on substring is not possible, neither searching on anything but
first character.

3) Display technical information on song:
Encoding, bitrate and others should be displayed as selectable columns and
on a detail info screen on the song.

4) Sorting behaviour:
One should be able to select to sort pre-fixes alphabetically. Now, The xxx
is sorted as xxx, for some languages, sorting on T is more logical. It
would make Clementine more international as well. Why the English prefixes
are recognised, but not necessary the
Dutch/Spanish/Russian/German/French/.... etc

5) Specific playlist behaviour:
If you open a playlist from disk, any update on it should be flagged as a
pending update, and upon save, it should overwrite the existing file. Now
save works as a 'save as'.

6) Distribution package:
In order to have the latest version available on multiple platforms, having
a ppa/appimage/snap would be beneficial.

Regards,
