I always download a Folder.jpg of the album cover for every album I add to
my music library. I started noticing that many covers associated with
albums were not the images I downloaded so I bit the bullet and went
through my entire library and updated all albums to use the file on the
disk. That turned out to be quite a time-consuming project as there were
many hundreds of non-conforming albums!

So I'd like to see if in the Preferences an option could be added to force
the use of the disk images and only fallback to a downloaded image in a
pinch. (I actually don't know where these non-disk images originated.)
Possibly Clementine could monitor the library for updates to the Folder
image file and automatically update the image if it changes, similar to the
way it monitors for changes to the music files.

Also, on the Cover Manager, could there be a button to force an update for
all albums at once rather than having to do a multi-step operation cover by
cover?

One additional question: most albums show two images in the Cover
Manager. Why? Also, there are some albums that only show a single image.
What is the reason for that?

Regards.
