Hello!
I use clementine on a linux box running Xubuntu. And so far, it is the
best music player I've found.

But today I ran into a strange and annoying behavior.
I keep all my music on an external hard drive. This is usually not a
problem. But this morning I accidentally dismounted that drive earlier in
the day before I ran clementine.
When clementine came up, it announced that my music library was empty and
promptly began deleting everything in the playlist I had open at the time.
I mounted the drive, but clementine already removed 90% of the playlist
before that point.

This is a good argument for backing up your playlists, of course, but is
this really the intended behavior?

I could unclick "update library when clementine starts" and "monitor
library" in the preferences I suppose, but I LIKE that clementine picks up
new songs whenever I add them to the drive.

Is there a setting I could change to change this behavior?

thank you in advance for your help!
