found configuration of logging service under
http://localhost:8080/admin/logging/ :-)
Suggest to use DailyRollingFileAppender as default
log4j.appender.R=org.apache.log4j.DailyRollingFileAppender
log4j.appender.R.DatePattern='.'yyyy-MM-dd
[maxFileSize] and [maxBackupIndex] are not available in
DailyRollingFileAppender
