Looking back at my successful ppc64 build from last night/this morning, 32-bit libtool failed 1 test of 101 and skipped two, instead of passing 103. The failure is in pdemo-make.test, and as a result pdemo-exec and pdemo-inst are not run. This is new, so I have to suspect the rearranged build order.
Rerunning after everything has already been installed, all 103 tests pass, as they did in the 64-bit libtool. At this point, all I can do is pencil in 'VERBOSE=yes make check' for my next build (this definitely looks as if it will produce enough information to see what is wrong). Anybody else seeing this failure on any multilib builds ?
