In 10.48, the configure option is:
--datadir=/lib64/kbd
but the explatation says:
"This option places the Kbd data and keymap files into
/lib/kbd"
and in 12.3, the keymap is loaded in the kernel with
the command:
loadkeys -m /lib/kbd/keymaps/[path to keymap]
I think all this must be coherent between /lib ou
/lib64.

We're still trying to figure out the whole
compiling-the-keymap-into-the-kernel issue in general. Please add a note
to ticket #56 if you want to add to the discussion.
