Hi! How to determine what should be placed to config.guess when building a package absent in the book? Or, how do _you_ do?
Is it done by comparing the output of a ./configure run for a cross build and a "normal" one? I did it for a few packages and the difference was much longer than those 1-2 lines usually written to config.cache according to the book. I'd like to build CLFS using alpha findutils 4.3.1 instead of stable 4.2.28. How to determine what should be placed in the config.cache? Please, don't suggest me to do it in the way the book does it for 4.2.28.
