What was the error messages you get trying to compile.

I did an svn checkout of qemu-r5219 trunk, and it got a lot further -- however, both 32&64bit build attempts error out on the 'target-ppc' ..machine target. Other machine targets prior to this all seemingly build ok. On the surface, it appears this will all work again whenever the next qemu release appears....
