Daniel, thanks for the tips and pointers - between the embedded & sysroot books
I figured out what was
going wrong where, and now have the cross-tools all compiled cleanly and
(seemingly) sane. When I
arise again I'll finish the build off, get it booting etc etc and do some
further testing to make sure it *is*
indeed sane. I've a couple of questions too, but they can wait....and I'll get
my notes sorted as well if
it all checks out. Right now though, I gotta get some sleep.....
