Well, after testing it again it seems I will have to eat my words. It appears
that support for large files is the default setting in uclibc configuration for
x86_64.
I still need --disable-multilib to allow the final gcc stage to compile.
I also still need to turn off the support for files >2G in busybox, otherwise I
get the fcntl64 error. This occurs even when uclibc has support for large files
enabled.
