Hello, currently the book calls for extracting the ports package for EGLIBC:
tar -jxvf ../eglibc-ports-2.15-r21467.tar.bz2 That should be something like: tar -xvf ../eglibc-ports-2.15-r21467.tar.xz since the archive is of type .xz, not .bz2 - the download list from chapter 3.1 and the EGLIBC Ports link in chapter 3.3 are ok.
