Hi,

I'm a newbie to CLFS and I would like to get started with the "book" so that
I can build a Linux system for a Pentium II (i586?) target. The host where
I will need to build CLFS is on an x86-64 system.

Can someone please tell me which CLFS book I need to follow: the x86 or the
x86-64?

I do not have a need to compile 64-bit applications, much less a 64-bit
kernel. Everything that I need to build will be running on a Pentium II,
and in the future, possibly on an Intel Celeron (which is also a 32-bit
processor).

Btw, if you are curious, the "old" Intel CPUs that I will be using to run my
applications will be for a Type 3 medical device that has to run as a
"turn-key" system.

Thank you in advance for your answer(s).

Dave W.
