Texinfo builds itself twice, the first is a native build, (Using the 
hosts compiler). The second is cross-compiled. Apparently you need to 
have ncurses installed on your host to build texinfo. Someone needs to 
look into the minimum version needed to build texinfo & use the menu for 
the linux kernel and add it to the host system requirements page.
