http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=34755 Summary: mod_aspdotnet not working on a clean Windows 2000 Server system Product: Apache mod_aspdotnet Version: 2.0.0 Platform: Other OS/Version: Windows 2000 Status: NEW Severity: blocker Priority: P2 Component: mod_aspdotnet AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I installed a fresh Windows 2000 Server, SP4. Installed Apache 2.0.53 and mod_aspdotnet according to the guidelines. After that, I installed .Net Framework Redistributable (v1.0.3705). I updated the httpd.conf file correctly. When I now try to run a simple .aspx page (with only a button on it), I get a .Net error indicating "DLL (aspnet_isapi.dll) could not be loaded". I then tried to manually register the dll using regsvr32 - to no avail. It could not be registered until I installed IIS and used "aspnet_regiis -i" to set up ASP.Net on this machine. While this may be a valid solution on my test machine, I can not talk the client into installing IIS on his server. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
