Good news. SVN migration is complete. Our new repository is located here:

https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/click/

and SVN browser is at:

http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/incubator/click/

I suggest other developers ensure they have commit access to the repository.

Going forward we will probably have two branches to maintain: 1.5.x at SourceForge and 2.0.x at Apache. These branches should be more or less the same with the Apache branch using the new org.apache.click package.

I say more or less because we need to resolve (read remove) LGPL code, which includes JSCalendar, the DateField JavaScript library. JSCalender is quite good and won't be easy to replace. Some options are YUI Calendar and JQuery.UI Calendar. Any other Calendar options?

The above setup does leave the question where new development should take place. Some options are:

#1 Create a third Apache branch 2.1.0 for new development
#2 Use the 2.0.x Apache branch for new development

Naoki I trust you will be able to manage ClickIDE branches?

kind regards

The dump looks good and history is intact.

I'll ask infra to move it to the ASF repository.

The dump file is ready for testing. See the last comment in JIRA:

Hi guys,

I am busy dumping SourceForge SVN for migration to Apache. Not sure how long
this process will take, perhaps a couple of days.

Please do not commit any changes until this process is complete. If there are commits in this time frame we will have to apply those patches manually to the Apache repository. Not the end of the world just inconvenient ;-)

Will keep the list updated on the progress.

kind regards

bob
