There are a couple of plans outlined on the wiki[1], mostly to do with leveraging annotations for autobinding.

Also our dependencies are becoming a problem as they move to jdk5 e.g: Cayenne 3.0.

Its not yet clear which version of Click should make the switch. I think the target will be either the current development branch, 2.1.0, or the release following 2.1.0.
