Hi Thomas, It's seems you are using PollDevice, am I right? I couldn't find that problem, which e1000 nic are you using? (eg 82546GB) While looking for a problem that you posted, I've just found that ifconfig down & up doesn't work on a interface which is running PollDevice. Maybe I think It can be related to your problem.
