Hi, By default when click is running in userlevel the linux kernel will forward packets. You can however disable this using the "*SNIFFER false*" configuration option of FromDevice, see http://read.cs.ucla.edu/click/elements/fromdevice.u for more info.
In kernel mode Linux will not process the packet at all, you have to use ToHost http://read.cs.ucla.edu/click/elements/tohost to pass packets to the kernel.
