-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello,
I'm trying to have click running with a patched kernel. I saw in INSTALL file that the last patch is for 2.6.24.7, but cannot use this version of the kernel, so I'm using a slightly more recent one, the 2.6.35.13. The click version I have is quite recent as it is the one from git on July 6th. I applied the patch and corrected all errors I found, and now have a fully functional patched 2.6.35.13 kernel, but still cannot compile click, as I got the following error : *checking for netdev_rx_handler_register kernel symbol... no* I made a few searches, and found that this netdev_rx_handler_register function appears only in 2.6.36 kernel versions... So, if I sum up my case : I am running a kernel too recent for standard click patch, but too old to have functions needed by click. I am sure I miss something, but what ? Any help welcome, Best regards, Fabrice -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (OpenBSD) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJOKEn1AAoJEL2/ouHeevJ4NhQIAJOnB6IC6rVbOLVSkJ+V61xX /WLQZC/pNEsdRuY2BBWg0/5kd+8Xe471J6pSxz8ZZG6LiV+9FgS5dqtasSic1y1D /3OzjDFAp4XSFlSNv87Ri15+kYre9oq4ZCxZdZDDVr0c/kWzQcg4yLw+ITr8R3Zt ydSL41ZGXrLOSl14ywMdGWIGwxJeqfQD7DwJWhzNTwDbOpNAg3/V6uIQ1jDMZbIg lo3aDAhcGh/ItjUlLoyNfNSvx7FFnOW2gVq64LHALK+gn8WVuHAM+gt5MUjmf5K1 R5bAjb8QfNFwGRLsQU/jDvKKg83T6pIMT1vZihViLK3ZL2bO9ghi2XIDqByfDQ0= =CYyf -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ click mailing list click@amsterdam.lcs.mit.edu https://amsterdam.lcs.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/click
