It seems we fail to detect accented symbols at least for “Finish” keyboard 
layout (other layouts might be affected too). 
I would expect that the function `keyDown()` will set `fProcessingKeystroke` 
flag to `NO` and then `insertText()` will do the rest but it does not work and 
requires investigation.
