I think neither is a big deal.

The first sounds to be about test coverage, in which case it isn't even part of 
what we use.
But I don't see anything obvious, although I also see an alpha related bug fix 
.. which should just be good to have.

to anything we might care about :
The change is the requirement to set header flags to zero instead of attributes 
when computing the MD5 digest.
