~~I wonder if `MenuKeyboardHelper` object that handles key presses can be left
in an inconsistent state if `keyTyped` and, I presume, `keyReleased` aren't
delivered to it.~~ No, it can't, the flag `receivedKeyPressed` is reset when
menu items are removed. It could be worth verifying nevertheless.
