Hi Sergey,

I have forwarded your question to the developers responsible. I like the idea of contributing to the Swing framework, but many specific questions could arise during implementation.

I will forward the developers' response as soon as it is available.

Best regards,
Aron

Hi, Aron.

The issues you described above do not seem to require a large reworking of the UI delegates for Win L&F. I believe most of them are enhancements that would make the L&F more native than it is right now, improving both usability and consistency with real Windows applications.

With that in mind, my first question is: would you consider contributing these changes directly to OpenJDK so that everyone can benefit from them and no access to private APIs would be required?
These changes could also be made configurable.
