Also this presumably fixes the OpenGL part of 
https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8377908
and yet it remains open with the bug summary being all about OpenGL.

Maybe we can split the non-mac test there into two parts
One with opengl=true, 
and the other to run xrender (ie default) 

Then we can exclude just the xrender case.

Perhaps you can do something I wish I'd done before which is to give explicit 
IDs
something like

@test id=opengl_otheros

@test id=default_otheros

@test_id=macos

the PL might then be clearer ??
