Looks like it does indeed work in latest stable. Sorry about the report. With that said I am not running Nightlies or Aurora, the Beta channel is pretty much the very next stable point release for Firefox. Which means it can be a month or less away now. [As per: https://hacks.mozilla.org/2012/05/firefox-and-the-release-channels/] Though, this does appear to be a 'problem' with xhrio and not Om.
