process.stdin ist recognized as a JavaScript Object, process not. Why ?

(.on process.stdin "data"

The created JavaScript looks like this:
irb.core._main = (function _main(){
return process.stdin.on("data",(function (_){
irb.core.ipcon.disconnect();
return irb.core.process.exit((0));
}));
});
