Hi Mike core.async is released to Maven Central, you can find all of the released versions at: http://search.maven.org/#search%7Cgav%7C1%7Cg%3A%22org.clojure%22%20AND%20a%3A%22core.async%22
In general Clojure Core releases are in Maven Central, and most community libraries are in Clojars. >From memory, Leiningen looks in Clojars, and Maven Central by default for dependency resolution.
