I haven't tried it yet myself, but I believe reagent.ratom/run! will let
you do what you want:

Something like this "should" work:
(defn my-controller-for-concern-x
(let [source (subscribe [:....])]
(reagent.ratom/run!
(do-something-when-this-changes @source))))
