We've started a *peer-administered* mailing list for React Native (tell us if you wish to co-admin) https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/reactnative Surprisingly, no one had setup a "ReactNative" dedicated mailing list yet, despite the close to 25K stars the project has on Github. While Stackoverflow and https://discuss.reactjs.org/ remain great places to ask questions, I figured we needed a mailing list option, too :) @Gadfly361 <https://github.com/gadfly361> who is a Clojure/Script fan and closely associated with the Reagent Project (he had written the official Reagent ToDoMVC and the Cookbook section in the Reagent Project's github) will be sharing his experience with Reagent Native, Natal, etc on the newly created React Native google group. Your contribution (new topics, questions, answers, and commentary) will be very much helpful to our goal of spreading React Native best practices (incl. for CLJS RN) and helping each other get the most out of the platform. 2. Whatever Happened to Reactive ClojureScript Meetup ? Since I've moved from SF Bay Area to Seattle just over three months ago, I've been wondering what to do with the SF Reactive ClojureScript Meetup, which has 190 members now. We've not found a new host/sponsor yet in either SF (preferred) or Seattle. If you'd like to step in and host it, I'm sure we could line up some low-key member-driven talks around Om.next, Reagent Native, Brutha, DataScript etc. http://www.meetup.com/Reactive-ClojureScript/ Personal update: I've been working with bare bone React Native for about three months in the context of hybrid apps (using Objective-C + React Native on iOS) that include custom native UI components (e.g. improved input field with app-specific custom keyboard) and non-RN native screens.
