I have created a DRBL server on Ubuntu 12.04LTS. I would like to assign
ip addresses to hardware mac addresses so clients can receive the same
ip address when they sign into the PXE server.

Yes, I am aware that there is an ip-to-hostname file but I think that is
meant for pushing images to multiple clients.

I have used Clonezilla-live for years and store images on a ssh server.
I would like to setup DRBL/Clonezilla SE to do image backups via PXE
client logins. Eliminating the need to boot from a live-cd.

I have a small home lan consisting of three computers I would like to
backup. So, my needs are simple but, the lan is growing.

I tried entering mac address assignments into the /etc/dhcp/dhcp.conf
file. That broke the PXE login. Clients could not 'find' the dhcp server
and hung searching. Removing my mac address assignments corrected the
dhcp search and clients once again could log in.

I have searched the mailing list archives and could not locate any
references to assigning ip to mac address. Has anyone done this before?
