comments here. a.) please split out the work aroujnd for 1675571 to another mp b.) drop the critical log mesasge c.) we discssed that picking the "FIRST_NIC" by order on the bus was better than by name. but whatever we can get that is stable from the hypervisor. nic name in a captured instance can be anything (user could have renamed nics to 'public0' and 'public1')
