Thanks for the response. IIUC, the transition to the Oracle DS is really for new instances only and the change is really in the name rather than something like Oracle DS pointing to different metadata URL or having a different format.
If i've got that correct then the transition isn't a big deal since either Oracle DS or Openstack DS will function. The biggest win is that changes to Openstack Datasource will no longer impact Oracle ds directly.
