Hey Anthony,

 I see this behaviour on Windows 2008 R2 VM's. I have turned off C state
already but still seeing the same issue.

I honestly don’t recall seeing turbo mode in the bios but I'll take another
look.

Kind Regards,
Marlon Davids

I saw this issue with ubuntu guest OS, upgrading to latest kernel for that
release can fix this issue.
Can you provide more information about the VM?

Or it may be caused by advanced cpu C state or turbo mode, you may need to turn
off C state or limit it to C2 and turn off turbo mode in BIOS.

Subject: VM's freezing up

Hello,

I'm seeing some issues with VM's freezing when we assign more than 1vCPU in
service offering in Cloudstack.

At first glance it looks like it's a Xenserver issue but I thought I would see
if anyone has come across this before.

Software = Xenserver 5.6 SP2
Host = HP DL360 G6 2x E5505 2.0Ghz 72GB RAM all the bios tweaks done.

Kind Regards,
Marlon Davids
