Hi We currently have following setup:
1 cp 1 nic on management network(public IP, 111.111.111.0/24) 1 nic on the storage network.(private IP.10.2.0.0/24) 2 hv(hyperviser server) 1 nic on management network 1 nic on storage network 1 nic on guest network(public IP, direct to the access point, 123.123.123.0/24 123.123.124.0/24 123.123.125.0/24 123.123.125.0/24) 1 storage 1 nic on storage network 1 nic on management network. In the advanced network setup, we found out that we can not use the direct access point, so before we are doing any modification to the network, we'd like to ask colleagues to help confirm the following questions: 1. The guest network, now it is on the access port, do we need to change it to trunk port?(with public IP range 123.123.123.0/24 123.123.124.0/24 123.123.125.0/24 123.123.125.0/24) 2. How many Vlans we need to operate one public shared guest network, can we config 123.123.123.0/24 123.123.124.0/24 123.123.125.0/24 123.123.125.0/24 all into the same Vlan, and use it as shared network port? and create unlimited number of VMs inside this Vlan? 3. In advanced setup, is that really need something of 300 VLan to operate the cloud?(so how the vlan is assigned, one per client, one per account, one per guest network, etc?) -- -- Kind regards.
