Joe Brockmeier commented on CLOUDSTACK-139:
-------------------------------------------

I think these files are used, but maybe one of the folks who know the internals
better can correct me.

However, these files appear to be taken from or derived from the
apache2.2-common Debian package:

patches/systemvm/debian/config/etc/apache2/sites-available/default
patches/systemvm/debian/config/etc/apache2/sites-available/default-ssl

As such, they should be licensed under the ASL 2.0.

This file:

patches/systemvm/debian/config/etc/apache2/vhostexample.conf

Doesn't appear to be packaged as part of the apache2.2-common package. It may
be a heavily modified version of one of the example configs or include
snippets, but it should also be Apache Licensed.

> Can we remove patches/systemvm/debian/config/etc/apache2/[vhostexmaple.conf,
> sites-available/default, sites-available/default-ssl]

> In reviewing the contents of the patches folder, David and I are wondering if
> the following files can be removed:
> patches/systemvm/debian/config/etc/apache2/sites-available/default
> patches/systemvm/debian/config/etc/apache2/vhostexmaple.conf
> patches/systemvm/debian/config/etc/apache2/sites-available/default-ssl
> If not, we need to establish the original source of these files.
