Hi Fang, First, thanks for writing this - it's awesome to see this explained. Now my concerns: The functional spec and emails on this subject have had no mention of testing, or of how we are going to validate that the API hasn't changed. What is the plan around this? Also - we've been pushing a lot of emphasis around low-level unit testing, and there has been a good deal of code touched, but little testing added last I looked. Are you planning on adding tests for the additions that have been made by you and the other folks working on this feature? --David
