Chris Sears commented on CLOUDSTACK-994: ---------------------------------------- Could you provide a link to the VMware vSphere feature you are talking about? I'm familiar with Profile Driven Storage, Datastore Clusters, and Storage DRS, but all of those were new to vSphere 5.0. Resource pools have been around for a while, but I don't think they would help with storage allocation. Thanks! > Feature Request: Support VmWare Storage Pool > -------------------------------------------- > > Key: CLOUDSTACK-994 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-994 > Project: CloudStack > Issue Type: Bug > Security Level: Public(Anyone can view this level - this is the > default.) > Components: Storage Controller > Affects Versions: 4.1.0, 4.2.0 > Environment: CS 4.1 > Reporter: ilya musayev > Priority: Minor > > VmWare 4.x has the support for storage pool- where as, you bundled your > LUNs/datastores into 1 storage pool and vmware will take of proper allocation. > If possible - it would be a great addition to CloudStack. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
