Could you provide a link to the VMware vSphere feature you are talking about?
I'm familiar with Profile Driven Storage, Datastore Clusters, and Storage DRS,
but all of those were new to vSphere 5.0. Resource pools have been around for a
while, but I don't think they would help with storage allocation.
