So the question is: are the intended changes needed?

If so, since the changes are actually not all that big, I'd abandon the
current review and simply submit a fresh one based off of the current
state of master.  You could update the patch in this current review
instead.  I don't think it really matters which one you do.

As Joe said, we should jump on it once you get it into the system.

If the changes aren't needed anymore, then simply close as abandoned.
