So the first step to getting Gerrit, is for us to agree to using it and to be able to clearly articulate *why*. Without being able to explain our issue, we'll be questioned about jumping to a tool-based solution by the infra team. IMO - the problems we are dealing with are (1) velocity of development and (2) scale of our contributor base. Agree? Other thoughts? We should also be prepared to discuss how other ASF projects deal with this, and how we are different from them (are we bigger, are we moving faster, etc...). So if we want to head down this path, which again I think we should (and I understand some of the concerns raised by others... we need to deal with those specific issues), then we need to bring the points above to a conclusion. Who wants to drive this discussion forward?
