I'll probably work on making sure most views, including all table listings,
dashboards and detail views have a refresh button with consistent appearance,
that would give the best experience for the user.
However, just one comment on a particular issue you mentioned:

This is actually intentional in the case of the instances tab. When you destroy
an instance, you still have the option of restoring it until it goes into
Expunging state. Thus, the instance row is left there so you can access the
'Restore' action in case you need it. The row will only be actually invisible
once it goes to Expunging state for a normal user, or is permanently deleted
from DB as an admin.
Let me know if that makes sense. Let me know if any other sections are not
showing consistent behavior, since otherwise the other table views should
remove the rows.
