I think I know the root cause for my host issues:


I am getting these messages from the cloudstack management server. This starts happening a few minutes after a host is added to cloudstack. 

Hosts are running Ubuntu 12.04 - and 4.0.0-incubating.20121024195401

2012-12-07 21:34:44,318 INFO  [cloud.api.ApiServer] (catalina-exec-13:null) expired session, missing signature, or missing apiKey -- ignoring request...sig: null, apiKey: null
2012-12-07 21:34:49,325 INFO  [cloud.api.ApiServer] (catalina-exec-14:null) expired session, missing signature, or missing apiKey -- ignoring request...sig: null, apiKey: null
2012-12-07 21:34:54,322 INFO  [cloud.api.ApiServer] (catalina-exec-11:null) expired session, missing signature, or missing apiKey -- ignoring request...sig: null, apiKey: null
2012-12-07 21:34:59,327 INFO  [cloud.api.ApiServer] (catalina-exec-15:null) expired session, missing signature, or missing apiKey -- ignoring request...sig: null, apiKey: null

Any change to the host state (let say I put it into maintenance), makes it impossible for the host to ever rejoin cloudstack.
