Hi all, While installing CloudStack on the management server, in the documentation I came across section below:
4.5.3.1. Downloading vhd-util Before setting up the Management Server, download vhd-util from vhd-util3 If the Management Server is RHEL or CentOS, copy vhd-util to /usr/lib64/cloud/common/scripts/vm/hypervisor/xenserver. If the Management Server is Ubuntu, copy vhd-util to /usr/lib/cloud/common/scripts/vm/hypervisor/xenserver/vhd-util. I am installing on RHEL 6.3. So far I just prepared the build rpm packages from the source code and prepared the OS for Management server installation. As per the step 4.5.3.1, I downloaded the vhd-util from internet. However, I was not able to find the path given /usr/lib64/cloud/common/scripts/vm/ hypervisor/xenserver on my RHEL server. The folder common inside cloud doesn’t exist. My question is if I have missed some step because of which this folder did not get created or this step will be done when I will install the hosts. Please guide. Thanks and Regards.
