Are there advantages or disadvantages of pulling userdate from the virtual router compared the get things from the cloudstack API? Which is the preffered way?

I can see the settings in the user_vm table in the database, but the virtual router doesn't return any info. I'm using CloudStack 4.0.0 and Puppet 3.0.2. Another guy on #cloudstack irc channel has this working on 3.0.x. Was the feature broken in the new version? I'd appreciate any insight that can be provided. Thanks. --johann
