So jzb is going to have the initial talk on NYLUG on March 14th, which is hosted by Google in their second building across the street from where I work (I work in the first google building).
There will be 3 cloud platform demos/talks, CS, OS and EU. After jzb delivers superb demo/talk and blows away the OS and EU, I'm hoping to get the NYC user base excited. And if jzb also mentions we are building NYC user group, we can than work with that user base going forward. NYLUG is mostly ran by Google folks and they are open to hosting events on their premises as long as it stays open source. Funny experience, I attended NYC Chef and OpenStack - all day event user group - few weeks back. After I showed off just a tiny bit of CS on my laptop, people were very much impressed with CS over OS (and I haven't showed much). Seems like we have a very strong potential user base in NYC willing to explore. -----Original Message----- From: Chip Childers [mailto:chip.child...@sungard.com] Sent: Tuesday, February 12, 2013 12:06 AM To: <cloudstack-users@incubator.apache.org> Subject: Re: CloudStack NYC User Group On Tue, Feb 12, 2013 at 12:03 AM, Musayev, Ilya <imusa...@webmd.net> wrote: > Great, Chip will be the heavy artillery for tough questions. Ha! More than happy to help, but not sure about that expectation.. ;-) If you do pull something together, and I'm able to make it up there, I'd be happy to give a "what's in 4.1.0" talk. -chip
