You are write. The http_sessions directory was automatically removed after reboot. I recreated this temp directory, and every thing worked well. Thanks very much!

My guess was that you have not created the "/tmp/http_sessions" directory. Note that the
"successfully logged in" message is shown even if the login fails. You must see the user
home page if the login is really successful (i.e., create event, logout, … must be visible).
The login failure message is also generated when the quality of service is not
good and SOME users fail to login. However, in your case ALL login attempts
fail which does not look like a QoS problem. 25 concurrent users is too small
to saturate the system. You should be able to get good QoS (no failure) for
~750 users per core on a typical system.

As you pointed out , i found "UIDriverAgent[0].6.doLogin: Found login prompt at index 1969, Login as csdjs16jl6,
707 failed." in the run log. However, when i enter "csdjs16jl6" and "707" in the browser, the
application returns "Successfully logged in!"

P.S: i am running cloudstone on three vms on a single host machine. I allocate 256MB
memory to each vm. In the "driver tab", i use 25 concurrent users. Is there any
possibility that the frontend is too busy to serve too much users?

It can mean both but in this case the run log shows that all "Login" attempts
have failed which looks like a setup problem. Try to login with one of the
username/passwords in the browser to see what error message you get. You can select a
user from the database or log file, or create a new one.

Hi Mohammad,

Thanks for your reply. I think the websit "http://ip.of.frontend:80"; works well,
since the browser can display the "Web 2.0 Php Application" correctly.

Acctually, i am wondering wether the "Failed" results mean that the installation or
configuration of cloudstone is incorrect? Or, "Failed" means that the system performance
is not good enough?

Hi,

These exceptions are not critical. You need to install the proper tools (e.g.,
nicstat and mpstat) to get rid of them. For the last one you should pass the
correct path to the Mysql error log file.

I examined the run log of your experiment and it seems that there is a problem
with your setup. Check to see if you can access the Olio application in your
browser by pointing the browser to http://IP.of.frontend:port.

Hi all,
I have installed the cloudstone following the instructions on the cloudsuite website. However, i
always get "FAILED" results. When i check the "run log", i find four severe
exceptions:
1.(backend) mpstat: Cannot run program "mpstat": java.io.IOException: error=2,
No such file or directory
2. (frontend) nicstat: Cannot run program "nicstat": java.io.IOException:

3. (frontend) iostat: null
4. CmdService: Getting - exception reading

BTW, i attached all output files with this email. Can anybody help me to solve
this problem. Thanks in advance.
