There are efforts going on to update clucene, and come up with a more up to
date stable version. We will announce it when there'll be what to announce.
At the moment you can choose one of two code bases, both are stable (0.9.21b
is proven to be stable over time as well).
Itamar.

Hello,
thanks for your response. Then, are you developing for being compatible with
Lucene 3.0? In this case, is there an estimated and un-official release
month?
Thanks again.

Alfredo,
First, let me welcome you to our community. JFYI, our license is dual - LGPL
/ Apache 2.0.
The latest release (from 2008) - 0.9.21b - is the one being widely used.
There is an ongoing work on our Git repository on a 2_3_2 branch, which
conforms to Java Lucene 2.3.2. See
http://clucene.sourceforge.net/download.shtml for more details.
A maintenance release for 0.9.21b is not planned. We are trying to put all
resources we have into a better, more up to date version of our code base,
and making that ready for a release.
Itamar.
