is this individual completely blind or "just" visualy impaired?

i ask because i just finished a conversation with some of the look 'n feel KDE
devs on IRC who are in the pre-planning stages of a widget style for the
visually impaired. it is tentaively scheduled to be released with 3.2 (since
3.1 is both feature frozen and relatively imminent). we will be looking for
people to both get feedback from _before_ coding as well as to test during
development.

the style will be a high contrast, visually simple style ... it may also have
speach feedback (based on some new speach synth work being done by pupeno)...

so... if she is visually impaired, i'd love the opportunity to converse w/her
if possible. ditto for anyone else who is visually impaired and uses linux.
