Hey Richard, I am running Win4Lin 4 for the same reasons Peter said. I am still dependent on PhotoShop and Illustrator. It works very well. I do believe it is more stable under Linux. The only drag is the custom Kernel but heh, you have to make a sacrifice somewhere if it is your intention to run some WinBloze apps.
And for the evangelists out there; I haven't had time to learn GIMP. PhotoShop just makes things easier for me. Sketch is an up and comer and I like it's import/export filters. Too bad the tools are not all that mature. Yes, it's time I got back to playing around in Linux. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Jenniss" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, September 05, 2002 3:15 PM Subject: Re: (clug-talk) Win4Lin on sale -- not spam > I was considering buying this product the other day. > > It is far cheaper than VMware, that is for sure. > But, vmware is just cooler, too bad its too slow. > > On Thu, 05 Sep 2002 10:09:43 -0600 > Sbastien Taylor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Hum, how is this not spam? > > > > Peter Pankonin wrote: > > > > >If anyone is interested... > > > > > >For a limited time we will be offering Win4Lin Workstation Edition at a > > >reduced price of $59.99.
